Abstract

The information and resources have become an element important and essential in the development of public bodies, which means that mechanisms create for their management in order to support management activities, in such sense is on board this documentary research whose purpose was to analyze the importance of management of effective information as a tool for citizen therefore participation was review of bibliographic sources of authors as Ponjuan, (2011), Choo) 2002) and Paez, (1992) among others with its representative's information and the importance management model be applied to the provision of accurate and timely information where citizens can participate actively in the Affairs of the State. Making effective management of information and by providing reliable and timely truthful information citizens these may participate actively in governance veland concluded making effective management of information and by providing reliable and timely truthful information citizens these may participate actively in governance ensuring that plans and projects for the benefit of a community are applied with total transparency, since the right to public information is enshrined as a right that is fundamental, so that citizens can be informed as the guarantor of the management.
