VIRTUALITY IN PRICING FINANCIAL TEAMS

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused changes and adaptations in society, including companies and businesses. With biosecurity measures and restrictions, in most cases, it was not possible to work in person as usual. Innovations were made in search of alternatives to continue operating and functioning in the environment and the requirements of the demand for goods and services. When evaluating the current situation of the work team at Dell Technologies Panama, in order to identify the opportunities, threats and benefits that working virtually brought with it. A survey was applied, and interviews were conducted as data and information collection tools. With the results obtained, graphs were analyzed and elaborated, where it was possible to identify opportunities such as: training and conferences with a greater scope, greater availability of talent, interaction with members from other countries, as well as improving communication in English. Provide benefits such as greater flexibility, productivity and cost reduction, and consider the risk in the personal versus work life balance, as well as consider the risks of cybersecurity. With the study data, it can be seen that although Dell Technologies Panama is prepared to work in virtual environments, there is still a field for improvement and opportunities that can, if they consider strengthening virtual work, since it is a reality that staff prefer to work virtually or Mixed, rather than face-to-face.
