Abstract

The tomosynthesis technique is relatively new in Panama. It requires an extensive evaluation of its performance taking into account international parameters. The present work seeks to analyze the state of the art of tomosynthesis technique and the international recommendations for the quality control of these systems. At the same time, the quality control protocols of digital mammography equipment with tomosynthesis in Panama are compared and evaluated.
