Abstract

This article examines the impact of imports of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) goods on Panama's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Using a quantitative methodology, a linear regression analysis was conducted to evaluate the relationship between ICT goods imports, the ICT Goods Import Price Index, Per Capita Disposable Income, and Panama's GDP from 1997 to 2022. The results indicate a significant correlation and provide a detailed view of the import behavior within the country's economic context.
