Abstract

The intervention of the management control in the Citizen Participation, in the development of the activities that are carried out in the Public Administration, to reach the expected objectives of economic, social or political order constitutes its main activity, since it seeks to assure that said activities translated into operations and processes are developed in a safe, continuous and reliable manner. In this regard, the general purpose of this research is to analyze the Management Control System as an instrument for evaluating Citizen Participation in Public Administration. It is based on authors such as: Pastor (2009), Mujica (2010), Bernuz (2011), Armijo (2011), Theiler (2012), Mora (2012) and Ramos and Sánchez (2013), among others. However, this research was carried out under a qualitative, bibliographic approach, through descriptive and documentary analysis. It was concluded that the Management Control System is a tool that serves as a support to the public administration, to guarantee the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the processes and institutional decision making.
