Abstract

The development of a satellite for telecommunications or meteorological conditions is very expensive and we depend on satellites from other countries that are in the area. The purpose of this is to develop a proposal for the construction and development of a CanSat or canned satellite, with fine educational studies and formative research in the area of aeronautics and space. To develop the research, microcomputers, microcontrollers and GPS modules, Radiofrequency and electronic boards were used for the development of the system. The result of the investigation was a modular CanSat system that will be able to transmit images with a resolution of 320x256 in a jpg format, in an approximate time of 4.5 minutes, and real-time telemetry such as GPS and sensor data. It is concluded that the design of this type of CanSat in a modular way is very profitable and can be implemented by schools and universities at a low cost after going through a stage of development and design of this; Improvements can be made with the progress of the groups that participate in them
