Abstract

This article describes the stress level when driving, therefore, it is important to emphasize that driving is an activity that causes different impacts and interests in each person. Where for some it is a time to relax and unwind, for others they may not perceive it this way since there are various factors that could influence, such as stress. The word stress is understood when tension is caused by a threatening situation, together with stressors indicating unforeseen circumstances that arise in life. Therefore, it is an adaptive response of the body to various stressors. The investigation was measured by the Driving Stress Appreciation Scale test, EAE - C. This test is not strictly applied before driving, it can be at any time since the corresponding statements have been prepared with information to determine the validity of the stressful event if it still affects you or has stopped affecting you. It is significant to mention that if the person is under the symptoms of stress, their capacities, attitudes and aptitudes will not be in the right conditions to drive safely, but will expose themselves to the risk that could possibly present an unwanted event since in many cases the days Driving is long and exhausting, both physically and mentally.
