Abstract

The neuropsychological maturity in the preschool child is important in this educational stage, since it indicates the relationship between the brain and behavior. Basically in this stage allows the development of cognitive and behavioral functions according to the chronological age of the infant. Learning is important for every person, since it generates changes at the cognitive and behavioral level, but at this stage the teacher plays an important role, therefore, it is necessary to plan strategies to provide adequate information about maturity and thus, the preschool education is enriched to the fullest. In this sense, the objective was to analyze the neuropsychological maturity in pre-admission children from 4 to 5 years of the San José del Carmen school. Among the relevant authors that support the research Blanco (2017), Rosselli, Matute and Ardilla (2010), Kolb & Whishaw (2002). The research is quantitative, exploratory-descriptive, since it examines and analyzes human, personal and social behavior in various natural conditions and in the social, economic, political and religious. And among the results obtained can be named the tests with higher scores are: psychomotricity, comprehensive language, spatial structuring and rhythm. The tests with the lowest score are: iconic memory, visoperception, articulated language and expressive language. As final considerations we must bear in mind that the education that is transmitted in school and at home, play an important role in preschool learning. It is necessary to identify the maturational development of each preschool, it is sought to identify the difficulties from an early stage, to be able to correct them and to direct them. It is important to try to discover the causes that lead to school failure and bad behavior to improve student performance and reduce the school failure rate that exists in the country.
